Balance Training

Balance is a communication between your brain and muscles that allows your body to stay stable. Balance exercises help you maintain strong leg muscles and prevent falls. Therapists at Advanced Physical Therapy & Rehab work with patients to maintain strong muscles and prevent falls. Balance training may involve a variety of exercises using the following equipment:

balance board
back balance
Bosu ball
balance pad
balance ball
balance stairs
balance beam
foam roller

Therapists may also train in exercises such as weigh shifts, single-leg balance, shoulder press, side-lateral raise, single leg hip rotation, squat, or walking. Our therapists listen to and work with individual patients to find out which equipment and balance exercises are right for them.

We want your experience with us to be a positive one. You may be uncertain about what to expect. Don’t worry. We want to provide you the care you need so you can reach your individual health goals.
